GIZA GIZA HIROME

This non-sewn knit bag changes from a flat shape to a three-dimensional silhouette when you place items inside. The lightweight, jagged (giza giza in Japanese) side design gives it a unique silhouette. This is an eco-friendly product because the energy and CO2 emissions from the dyeing process were cut due to the use of quick-dyeing yarn and reduction in the amount of dye used. Hirome is an old Japanese word for kelp, a wide type of seaweed. “Hirome” was chosen for the series name because the seaweed has been considered a good luck talisman in Japan since long ago and is a material that we will continue to cherish in the future.
